≠You can see how the Contrast and Brightness settings work together. For each scan, you’ll adjust these settings until you get the effect you want. (If you’re scanning a line drawing instead of a photograph, you use the Threshold setting to regulate lightness and darkness. It works almost the same way as the Contrast and Brightness settings.)
Now click the close box to go back to the Scan Control Panel.
